My Story: An Evening of Personal Narratives

Chris Clark

Since our shows are this week, we thought it would be fun to showcase some of the performers who will be sharing their stories!

We are starting off with Chris Clark.

This is Chris’ first time performing with Inclusive Theater and we are so happy to have him join us! Chris is a talented actor and is downright hilarious (as you can see by the picture!!) and always keeps us on our toes! .

Workshops

“In The Garden” Participatory Theater – July 15, 2017!

We are so excited to announce our next theater workshop, “In the Garden!”

So what is the “In the Garden!” workshop? The workshop is a participatory theater event – meaning, we spend time throughout our time together “building” our performance before “staging” our performance later in the day!

We will act, craft, paint, write (and more!) during our workshop time together! It will be a day of play that is open to EVERYONE!!

The workshop starts promptly at 9am and runs until 2pm on Saturday, JULY 15, 2017 at The Foundry. There is a $10 cost for the event, which covers materials and lunch.

Reservation is required to ensure that we have enough materials.

To reserve your space or for questions, please send us an email at inclusivetheaterofwny@gmail.com or call 716-218-8129.

Hope to see you there!

Auditions and Monologues Class!!!

It is with great excitement that we are announcing that Actor and Teaching Artist Aleks Malejs returns to teach our Auditions and Monologues class. Straight from Irish Classical Theatre’s production of Sweet Bird of Youth by Tennessee Williams in which she played the main character, Alexandra, winning rave reviews for her powerful performance, Aleks is ready to pass along her acquired knowledge of acting techniques gained from obtaining a Masters in Acting degree from the New School in NYC, and the wisdom garnered from years of stage experience. These combine to offer YOU the best of both: Knowing what to do, and WHEN to do it! If you are planning to present a project at work or school, or are a teacher yourself, an attorney, or yes, even an actor (with or without experience), this class is for YOU!  Inclusive Theater of Western New York is sponsoring this class and we welcome EVERYONE: Beginner and master, all races, creeds, nationalities, and level of ability/disability. You will find yourself at home with us! Come. Learn. Live. Laugh.

WE LEARN TOGETHER! WE’re INCLUSIVE!
