ITOWNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts – Meet the Actors – Lexie Hoeglmeier

Lexie Hoeglmeier is over the moon to be performing and directing in Inclusive Theater of WNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts. While studying at Georgetown, Lexie founded and directed GUerrilla Improv; a team focused not only on performing comedy, but dedicated to teaching improv and increasing access to a previously insular and homogenous art form on campus. Her lone (but no longer lone-ly) credit locally was as the Narrator for First Look Buffalo’s staged reading of Dick Piston: Hotel Detective. She is thrilled for her second turn on a Buffalo stage as a “grown-up,” and her first turn directing a scripted production. Big thanks to Maddy, Aimee, Dallas, and Inclusive Theater of WNY for the opportunity, and so much love to her partner Elliott and her friends and family for all their love and support.
