With Direction by Kim Queenie Robinson!! Kudos for a job well done and thank you to all who attended!
The next short play readings will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2020 with two plays by the extraordinary Donna Hoke! More information is coming soon!

Inclusive Theater of WNY (ITOWNY) is proud to present our monthly Short Play Reading Series and we need YOU!! The show must go on!!
We are holding an OPEN CASTING CALL – meaning we have a number of roles to fill (and on a rolling basis)! We welcome and encourage all levels of acting experience to audition. We are looking for a variety of actors, especially those that have been underrepresented in American theater.
Upcoming acting opportunities for short plays by Donna Hoke (August) and TJ Snodgrass (September) with more TBA!
VIRTUAL Auditions will be held on SUNDAY, July 19, 2020 and MONDAY, July 20, 2020 between 6 and 8 PM. Additional auditions will be scheduled as needed.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your preferred time slots (please include two time options). You may also send a VIRTUAL audition to us at the same email address by 8PM on Monday, July 20, 2020. Be sure to include your name and contact information.
The readings will be held VIRTUALLY via Zoom on August 8 and September 19 with additional monthly reading dates TBD. VIRTUAL rehearsals will begin on July 27 for the August reading and September 1 for the September reading with additional dates TBD. Rehearsals scheduled in collaboration with director and actor availability.
These are not paid roles. Actors will self-costume and may need to provide minor props.

This Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 8pm EDT, poet Julio Valentin joins ITOWNY’s Special Series on inclusion in the arts! This week we’ll also discuss social justice issues and their impact on the arts.
The event, as always, is free and open to the public. ALL are welcome!! Hope to see you there!!

More about Julio:
Julio Montalvo Valentin (they/them) is the author of three chapbooks, Those Who Pray to Rice (NightBallet Press, 2019), Don’t Give up the Ship and Ship Lost (CWP Press, 2016; 2017). Julio was a guest editor for Mutata Re, Plurality Press, Portrait, and co-founder of the late Cringe-Worthy Poets Collective. Their work has been published in Thimble Literary Magazine, Cavity, Bangor Literary Journal, and Aisthesis: The Interdisciplinary Honors Journal. Their work has been anthologized in Boricua en la Luna: An Anthology of Puerto Rican Voices, A Flash of Dark, Mansion, and My Next Heart: New Buffalo Poetry. Aside from being a Poetry Editor for Coffin Bell Journal and Variety Pack, Julio is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in English Literature while working on their next project; converting a school bus into a poetry caravan.
