ITOWNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts – Meet the Playwrights – Madison Sedlor

Madison Sedlor (Playwright- The Merry Men of Tinder) is thrilled to be back with her friends at Inclusive Theatre! Madison’s plays have been produced across the country, most notably her play Keep a Little Soul was produced Off-Off-Broadway in 2019. Favorite writing credits include: The Great Santa Con, Now | Then(Inclusive Theatre of WNY) Getaway Eddie(Buffalo Writers Showcase), The Woo Girl’s Lament (Coneman Running), The Exorcism of Princess Bubblehead (Bite-Sized Theatre Spooktacular NYC), and Crash and Learn (Coneman Running, Aurora Players Summer Theatre). Additionally, Madison has written several screenplays for the 48 Hour Film Project. Her team’s film No Grapes No Glory took home six awards in the New York City chapter’s 48 Hour Film Project in 2015 including Best Film. Last year her team Inclusive Films brought home six nominations in the Buffalo chapter’s 48 Hour Film Project with their film The Weatherbees. Madison has been published in Smith & Kraus’ “Best Female Monologues of 2021” as well as multiple poetry anthologies. Madison’s next publication will be out this summer as part of the “Frozen Women/Flowing Thoughts” monologue anthology. Madison is a proud member of the Queen City Playwrights writing group. ITOWNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts – Meet the Directors – Aimee Levesque

Aimee is the Founder, Executive and Artistic Director of Inclusive Theater of WNY. She received her PhD from the University of Buffalo and her dissertation focused on empowerment through the arts for persons with disabilities. Aimee grew up in Charlotte, NC and now resides in Western New York. She is a writer of all things and loves to be creative! She is a big fan of Cobra Kai, Halloween, horror movies, Christmas, and pizza and her daughter Jessica is the reason behind all that she does!

ITOWNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts – Meet the Directors – Shanda Gardner

Shanda Gardner (Director – Damn You, Roger & The Go-Away Face) – Shanda is happy to be making her directorial debut with two short plays in this festival. She is usually seen on stage or on screen. She appeared as Antonia in ITOWNY’s production of 12th Night last summer. She also appeared in five short plays as part of three festivals last year: Let’s Play House and Hell-oween with First Look Buffalo and Get In the Car! for Buffalo Writers’ Theater. She is a regular in the locally produced TV show Captain Isotope and the Enemy of Space and will be seen in upcoming screen projects Slasher Days of Summer and Ragdoll Assassin. Enjoy the show!

ITOWNY’s 2024 Festival of Shorts – Meet the Actors – Mr. Boodles

Mr. Boodles is a graduate of Doggie Smile Obedience Academy, where he excelled at

“Speak,” “Sit” and “Stay.” 

He found his niche in the theater in 2015, playing himself in the Towne Players of Ken-Ton’s production of ” Suite Surrender.” He reprised his role in the 2023 production of the same with the Raiders of Niagara. 

Mr. Boodles is thrilled to be part of the cast of 

“The Coffee Dance” in his first production with this talented group.

When he is not acting, Mr. Boodles enjoys long walks, chasing squirrels and chewing slippers.

He is currently working on his memoir entitled “cold nose warm heart.”
